Vernolo

Vernolo is a rio of the eastern bolognese Apennines, affluent of the Idice stream.

Its source (about 660 meters altitude) and its course are located entirely in the heart of Monterenzio, in the upper valley of Idice. The Vernolo is one of the many seasonal streams that dictate in Idédo, but it proves to be much more impetuous than others, especially near its entry, from the right, into the creek just north of the Bisano hamlet.

Its course (about 3.1km) is mainly oriented towards the northwest, and its reach is difficult to calculate accurately given its very irregular regime.
