Andreas Tunkler (1820 - 1873) was an Austrian officer and engineer at the head of the Imperial Royal Office of the Fortifications of Verona. He tied his name to the numerous defense structures of the city built around 1860.

He was famous for his fortification science publications and for teaching at the Kloster Bruck Military Academy in Znojmo. He directed the construction of the fortifications outside the walls of Verona by Franz von Scholl. Bibliografiamodifica wikitesto Voices correlateemodify wikitesto
