Euridice (wife of Creonte)


Eurydice in Greek mythology is the wife of Tebe Creonte's king.

Antigone, daughter of Oedipus and Giocasta, is imprisoned for life by Creon for burial to his brother Polinice, considered a traitor, so she suicides. Emony, son of Eurydice and promised groom of Antigone, finding her beloved without life decides to kill. Finally Eurydice, in knowing that her son was killed, also puts her late in her days.
