Fredrik Ekblom (Kumla, October 6, 1970) is a Swedish car driver. Career

In 1992 and 1993, Ekblom 13 started in the Indy Lights. Then he made three starts in the CART for three different teams and participated in the Indianapolis 500 in 1994 and 1995, but after losing his 1994 rookie experience, he never got to the start with any training . In 1997 and 1998 he participated in Le Mans' 24 hours for the Courage Compétition team and in 1999 for Nismo. By that time he began his participation in the STCC, where he became a BMW in 1998 and in 2003 in an Audi. He continued to drive in this series for Audi in 2006 and returned to BMW in 2007 where he became a third-time champion, a record. A year later, this record was matched by his compatriot Richard Göransson. Also in 2007 he participated in some WTCC rounds for the BMW Team UK team to help Andy Priaulx in his title race.

In 2009 Ekblom returned to the STCC, where he switched to the E.ON Biogas Racing team, driving a Volkswagen Scirocco driving on biogas.
