Grease pipe

Disposal of untreated wastewater

Lubrication pipe is a nickname that is often given to liquid waste disposal pipes. Originally, it was a bad word for a dirty person, dirt bag.

Before environmental awareness became commonplace, it was not uncommon for plants to discharge liquid waste directly onto surface water. If it could not be in the environment, for example, by stenching, a lube pipe was sometimes applied, so that the waste came into a place where it caused less nuisance.

Due to the rise of environmental consciousness in the 1960s, it became necessary to filter or store wastewater, and discarded many lubricants. However, some were not cleaned, but remained behind with a layer of contaminated sludge.

Recently, some lubrication pipes have arisen about the potentially damaging effects of the old pipes that leak and pollute the surrounding environment.
