Jonathan López Rodríguez (Oviedo, April 19, 1987), football name Joni López, is a Spanish footballer. He plays as a central defender at Candás CF.
Joni López played several years in the youth team of Sporting de Gijón. In 2005 he debuted in the first team of the Asturian club, which he played in the Segunda División A. In July 2008, Joni López was contracted by FC Barcelona, where he played for Barça Atlètic, the second team of the club. On September 9, 2008, the defender won the first team in the Copa de Catalunya against UE Sant Andreu. In the summer of 2009 he returned to Sporting Gijon after one season. At this club he soon joined the B-team. Since 2010, López plays for Candás CF.
