Bhrikuti Devi is a Nepalese princess from the kingdom of Licchavi and daughter of King Amshuvarma in classical Tibetan history.
Bhrikuti was one of the two most important women of Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo (605-650) in addition to Chinese princess Wencheng. She was a convinced Buddhist, and in iconography her hair is attributed mainly to the aspect of the green Tara.
Bhrikutu's historical existence is at least controversial. His name is first mentioned in Tibetan sources in the Pillar Testament, and text dating from the end of the eleventh century.
