Cardigan
A cardigan is a piece of clothing.
It's a certain type of knitted vest, usually with a V-neck, usually worn in winter and autumn, often about a shirt, blouse or a T-shirt. Characteristic is that the cardigan can always be opened with a knot that starts directly under the V neck and continues to the bottom of the garment.
The cardigan is named after James Brudenell, the 7th Count of Cardigan, wearing such a garment. The garment is knit of wool or cotton and may consist of a skirt with sleeves or a rounded single knit fabric. It is worn by both men and women in mostly an informal setting, although it is more often behaved by youngsters in 2010.
