Symbol of the Trinity Goddess: with waxing, full and diminishing moon
The Great Mother Goddess or Trinity Goddess is a goddess worshiped by, among others, the Wicca and other neo-national groups.
Three stages are depicted: the Young Virgin, the Mother and the Old Woman, each symbolizing both a phase in a woman's life and a phase of the moon. She represents the female part of a duotic system with the male "Horned God" as a counterpart.
