Mensa (an abbreviation of Latin name mensa academica), also called student restaurant or student resto, is an eatery where students and usually staff members of a university or college can come and eat a hot meal. Usually these are self-service restaurants. In addition to restaurants, many schools also benefit from a cafeteria or snack bar.
A human being can be part of a university, but many student associations also have their own humanities. The name is derived from the Latin word mensa which means 'table'. In a mensa meals are taken for a student-grade meal. In the past, a human being was a simple cooking kitchen, but nowadays more and more people are a real restaurant for a student prize.
