55 Cancri b or Galileo is an exoplanet that runs around the star 55 Cancri A. A circulation takes 14.65 earthy days. It is the second planet seen from 55 Cancri preceded by 55 Cancri e. It's an example of a hot Jupiter. He was discovered on April 12, 1996 by Geoffrey Marcy and R. Paul Butler in California, United States.

He has 40.9 light years from the solar system in the zodiac sign Cancer. He has an average of 0.115 AU of 55 Cancri.

In December 2015, the planet of the IAU received the official name Galileo, to Galileo Galilei.
