Dorothé Wassenberg


Dorothea W. (Dorothé) Wassenberg-Welp (Loenen, June 2, 1943 - Amsterdam, March 27, 2009) was a Dutch politician for the Labor Party. Political career

Wassenberg became a councilor in IJsselstein in 1974 and served as an alderman from 1979 to 1988. In 1988 she was appointed Mayor of Schoonhoven. In 2003 Wassenberg received lung cancer and had to stop her work. In 2005 she returned, to say goodbye to the end of the year for personal reasons. She was named goodbye of the Silver City shortly before her.
