Spyker Squadron is the Spyker race team that participates in the FIA GT and the Le Mans Series. They do that with racing cars based on the models of the Spyker C8. Here the Raceteam takes action against the many Porsche 911's. The race until 2004 with one car and from 2005 with two cars. This was the first model of the current Spyker Squadron, that races in the Le Mans Series. This car is based on the Spyker C8 Double 12S. In 2002 & amp; 2003 did not succeed in finishing Le Mans's 24 hours. On the other hand, Spyker had developed enough technology and accumulated enough money to come up with a new model, the Spyker C8 Spyder GT2R.
This is the model that most often participated in the 24-hour Le Mans of all Spykers. From 2005 to 2007 this car started.
