The La Pernelle battery, also called a battery called La Pernelle II, was a coastal battery in Normandy during World War II. The complex was built by Organization Todt, near the French village of La Pernelle, early 1944. The mash construction was not completed during the bombing of 9 May, and the gun was set up in pits. During the bombardment a cannon was damaged while the other three were brought to a basement.

During the Allied Landing on June 6, 1944, the battery bumped the American troops on Utah Beach. On June 19th, the Germans were unharmed by the Germans because the American troops had been smashed a lot and the Germans could not transport the guns to Cherbourg. Also see
