The Rijksbureau voor Kunsthistorische Documentatie (commonly known as RKD) is located in The Hague and is home to the largest center of world art history.

The center is specialized in collecting documents, archives and texts on Western art, from the late Middle Ages to modern times. All the assets are open to the public, and most of it has been digitized and made available on the site of the institute. The main goal of the center is to collect more and more sources and catalog them so that it can be consulted to the greatest number of people.

The library includes about 450,000 titles, of which about 150,000 are auction catalogs; there are also 3000 magazines, and most of these documents are available in Dutch. Other designers wikitesto
