Blackpool (television series)


Blackpool is a BBC BBC television series. It is a six-part series with episodes of 1 hour each. The series was broadcast in Britain from November 11 until December 16, 2004 and has also been featured on Dutch public broadcasting. There is also a sequel made under the title Viva Blackpool. Plot

Ripley Holden (David Morrissey) is a small entrepreneur who has just opened a game room. The morning after opening a body is found in the casino. DI Carlisle (David Tennant) is called to investigate the murder case, but during the investigation he falls in love with Ripley's wife, Natalie (Sarah Parish).

During the investigation, the playroom is closed by Carlisle and he suspects that the son of Ripley, Danny (Thomas Morrison) knows something about the murder case that probably has something to do with his father.

In the last episode, Ripley's daughter, Shyanne (Georgia Taylor) marries Steve, then Danny admits he committed the murder of self-defense and that he is gay. Nathalie and Carlisle get their blessing from Ripley and Ripley gives the case to Danny and the complaints are withdrawn. Occupation
