Botel

The Amstel Botel in Amsterdam. A botel (a combination of the words boat and hotel) is a non-sailing ship docked in a port or river bank and as a hotel. The floating hotel sometimes provides guests with access to boats, allowing them to sail on the adjacent water. Worldwide botels are docked, for example in Amsterdam, Bratislava and Budapest.

In Prague there are seven botels - Botel Albatros (1969), Botel Racek (1970), Admiral Botel (1971), Botel Waterman (1992), Botel Neptunus (1992), Botel Matilda (2007) and the Florentina Ship originally built by Austrian skippers in 1980 and being the only botel adapted to sail).

The lower price range of a botel, similar to the hostel, is used by the name of bostel.
