A self-extracting archive (SFX) or self-extracting archive is an archive that contains multiple files, usually using compression. Usually, an .ff file is assigned the .exe or .sfx file extension. SFX files are created by WinRAR, 7-Zip and WinZip. An SFX file is then compressed according to the RAR, 7Z and ZIP algorithm respectively.
