While she was also active at the World Cup during the same year, she won both the single and doubles of Malaysia Open 2003, a tournament on the ITTF Pro Tour. An eye-catching achievement, as Chinese was still the number 336 of the world at the time. In the following years, the Zhen added her name to various lists of (former) winners of Pro Tour events.
After the Chinese won in the mixed doubles, both in 2005 and 2007 together with Qiu Yike bronze, they joined Li Ping in 2009. Together they defeated on the way to the world title a total of seven other duos, never handing in more than two games per game. In the final, Zhen and Ping defeated their compatriots Zhang Jike and Mu Zi with 4-2. Two years later, Zhen extended her title, which she won with Zhang Chao this time. In the final again Mu Zi was the victim, who had Hao Shuai this time. Erelijst
