Dirk Nachtergaele


Dirk Nachtergaele (14th of July 1951) is a Belgian caregiver who is active in Quick · Step cycling team. In 1979 he debuted as a caregiver of the Dutch DAF Trucks Team. Nachtergaele has collaborated with riders such as Jan Raas, Gerrie Knetemann, Dietrich Thurau, Phil Anderson, Eric Vanderaerden, Eddy and Walter Planckaert, Mario Cipollini, Baldini, Robert Millar, Stephen Roche, Henk Lubberding, Johan Museeuw, Joop Sweet Milk, Fabio Baldato and Tom Boonen. At the end of 2011 he retired. Now he regularly arranges the performance 'Straffe Wheel Records' together with Rik Vanwalleghem. In this he tells about his many experiences in the cycling game.

He is also a masseur for the Red Devils, the Belgian national football team. Books
