Pescador is a small island in the Philippine province of Cebu, which is part of the central Visayas archipelago. The island is only about 100 meters long is nothing more than a light-gray rock that protrudes about 6 meters above sea level. Pescador is located about 2 kilometers west of Cebu in Tañon Street. The water between Pescador and Cebu reaches a maximum depth of 300 meters. The island, part of the municipality of Moalboal, is uninhabited. The waters around the island form the Pescador Island Marine Reserve. The reefs and the many fish species around the island make the island beloved as a dive site. Literature
