Flights Š-39


The Letov Š-39 is a Czechoslovak's double-seat high-tech sports aircraft built by Letov. The Š-39 was designed by engineer Alois Šmolík. The first flight took place in 1931. The pilot and passenger sat in tandem in an open cockpit with the pilot for the pilot. The wheel configuration was traditional. The wing was quite low above the trunk placed with beams in support. Of the first series, 23 devices were built and intended for Czechoslovak Aero Clubs, after which the other series were driven by other engines. Versions Specifications
