A hoover fork, also called a fork / gavel, is an agricultural tool that manually removes things like hay and straw. The tool is in the form of a fork. A hay fork has a long stalk with 2 or 3 sharp teeth to move hay or straw into a loose product or as a broom / bale. A long handle (sometimes even more than 2 meters) is required to throw the amount of hay or straw high on a hay wagon.
The haystork resembles the manure fork, but there are differences. A manure worm usually has 4 sharp teeth and a shorter handle, sometimes with a handle.
