Humidification is a unitary operation in which an insulating air stream is brought into contact with water, so that it is cooled down by water. The cooling of the water is due to the fact that the air leaving the cooling tower draws with it part of the water, which then evaporates, subtracting heat from the water as a latent evaporative heat. Therefore, a water replenishment (in English makeup) operation is required in the cooling circuit.
In the study of the humidification operation we refer to the magnitudes of psychrometry. Bibliografiamodifica wikitesto Voices correlateemodify wikitesto
