Liu Guozheng (國 正 劉 - Wuhan, March 7, 1980) is a Chinese professional table tennis player. He grabbed the final victory in the single-game tournament of the ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals in 1999. A year later he was again in the final, but lost his title to Wang Liqin this time. The Chinese became the world champion in the country team tournament in 2001 and 2004 with the national team. Guozheng made his debut in the International (seniors) circuit in Yugoslavia Open 1996, where he reached the quarterfinals. Three years later, at the China Open he had his first title on the ITTF Pro Tour. The Chinese proved to be both in the single and doubles world-wide, resulting in several international titles in both disciplines.
Guozheng played his first of the seven World Cups in 1997, to which he participated until 2005. He played five times a final, of which he won two. After the Chinese had to bend for Sweden with the national team in the final battle in Kuala Lumpur 2000, he with the countrymen in 2001 and 2004 took the world title in this discipline. In 2003 as well as 2005, Guozheng was in association with his countryman Bai Yang in the final of the mixed doubles. In that they had to leave the World Championship first Wang Nan / Ma Lin duo and two years later to Guo Yue / Wang Liqin.
Guozheng represented China in the single-game tournament of the 2000 Summer Olympics. He was eliminated in the quarterfinals. Erelijst
