Cocomarine pear is an Italian variety of pear. It is cultivated in the Tiber Valley, in the Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Umbria and Marche regions.
Of ovoid shape, it stands out for its small size (20-60 grams), the green color of the skin and the red color of the flesh.
In 2003, Slow Food was established for pear cocomarine, with the support of the mountain community of Appennino Cesenate and of the municipality of Verghereto. At the pear cocomerina is dedicated an annual festival to Ville di Montecoronaro. Notemodify wikitesto Links externalize the wikitesto
