Patrick Jake O'Rourke

Patrick Jake O'Rourke (November 14, 1947, Toledo, Ohio) is an American journalist and writer. Because of his disgust from an emotional government, both socially, in terms of sex and drugs, and at the economic level, he is considered a classical liberal or libertarian. Both left-wing American liberalism, interpreted by the Democratic Party, if the Republican Party is often a victim of his satirical pen.

O'Rourke studied at Miami University, Ohio, and at Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, Maryland). His articles have appeared in a wide range of publications, such as Vanity Fair, Playboy, Rolling Stone and National Lampoon.

Currently O'Rourke H. L. Mencken Research Fellow is at the class-liberal Cato Institute. Bibliography
