Surface tension

Vertebral section: the overlay ligament is on the far right

Surface ligament is a thick fibrous spine of the spine, underneath the nerve ligament, extending from the seventh cervical vertebra to the sacred. It has a structural and articulating support role.

The overlapping ligament is fixed at the apex of the spinous processes, overlapping behind the interspinous ones. It is thicker and thicker in the lumbar region than the chest, and in both areas it is closely related to the surrounding connective tissue band.
