The Co (te) lette Film is the filming of the same dance performance of Belgian choreographer Ann Van den Broek (WArd / waRD BE / NL) by British director Mike Figgis.
In The Co (te) light film, three women dance in a rather intimate atmosphere, ridden between desire and satisfaction. Without confrontation, rivalry, story, solution or end: the story of Co (light) is restless and empty.
The dance performance won the Swan for the most impressive dance production in the 2007/2008 season. That is the most prestigious dance prize of the Netherlands awarded by the Association of Theater and Concert Buildings.
The Co (te) lette Film is a production of the Brussels production house Savage Film, the British Red Mullet, the Belgian / Dutch dance company WArd / WaRD and the Dutch NPS and was established with the support of the Dutch Media Fund and the Flemish Audit Fund (VAF). Other Externe link
