The Annals of Lough He (also Annals of Loch Cee) describe events that mainly concern the Connacht and neighboring regions, ranging from 1014 to 1590. They are named after Lough He, in the realm of Moylurg - now northern part of Roscommon County - MacDermot clan power center. For the centuries older use Boyle's Annals. The largest part of the Annals is attributed to the members of the Ó Duibhangeannan clan, with some amendments and amendments by the patron, Brian na Carriag MacDermot, the first MacDermot of Carrick (died in 1592).
