The Avalanche Quartet is committed to playing Leonard Cohen's work.
In 2005, Henk Hofstede was asked to record a CD containing some songs by Leonard Cohen for the Dutch edition of the book Yesterdays Tomorrow of Marc Hendrickx. The CD is very well received. There are radio and tv shows and a few concerts.
In 2007, a small Swiss label releases the Leonard Cohen Songs CD.
The Avalanche Quartet is regularly approached for concerts in the Netherlands, Switzerland, France and Belgium.
In the autumn of 2013, the second album will be released Rainy Night House and will follow an extensive concert tour in The Netherlands. Occupation Discography Externe link
