Friseboda nature reserve

Friseboda Nature Reserve (Swedish: Friseboda Nature Reserve) is a natural reserve south of Åhus in the municipality of Kristianstad in the Swedish province of Skåne län.

The nature reserve is located by the sea and consists of dunes, these dunes are plowed with pines in many places. There are also some places that are not forested, these places are famous because of the rare butterflies that occur here. The reason that the pines grow in the nature reserve is that in the 18th century it was cut down in many places along the coast, which caused sand blasting in many places, which again led to sand sprays.

In the 19th century, many ponds were planted along the coast, because they could hold the sand. On the edge of the nature reserve is a sandy beach on the seafront.
