Havikpolder

The Havikpolder is a polder northwest of Hulst, belonging to the Polders of Stoppeldijk and Cambron.

The polder is a reprisal of the Hofpolder, which was deployed in the Middle Ages by the monks of the Cambron Abbey, and where they were called "Stoppeldyck". The later place Stoppeldijk is not located in this polder, but a few kilometers north in the Stoppeldijkpolder.

The polder was inaugurated in 1753 and measures 161 ha. In or on the polder you will find the neighborhoods Patrijhoekhoek and Vijfhoek. 51° 17′ 46″ NB, 4° 1′ 4″ OL
