Marla's faith or religion, also known as Chimari Yüla (Чимари йдала), is the traditional polytheistic religion of the Mari people, inhabiting the republic of Mari El in Russia. Religion embraces paganism with totemic and Christian elements. Religion has been persecuted by the Russian authorities in recent years as part of a wider campaign to rushed the culture of the Marines.
