The spacecruiser is an invention from the strip series Suske and Wiske. With this vehicle, the farthest planets can be reached from the solar system.
The space cruiser starts with a jet drive, but outside the atmosphere, the space cruiser flies through the use of magnetic field power fields. As a result of the magnetic fields, the spacecruiser goes so fast that the occupants can only survive in a special cabin.
Professor Barabas has designed the space cruiser in the story De Wolkeneters (1960). Lambik is abducted in the story by a flying dish and Suske, Wiske, Aunt Sidonia and Jerom go to the spacecraft to save Lambik. Theofiel Boemerang also appears to have gone aboard the spacecruiser because he saw opportunities as a traveler in space.

In the ticking tinkan (2007) it appears that Professor Barabas has modernized the space cruiser.
The spacecruiser is also used in the Jerom strip series. Professor Barabas and Aunt Sidonia are kidnapped and Jerom takes the space cruiser from Barabas's hangar and Krimson flies afterwards. Later in the story The strange collection will burn the vehicle down.
