Il Bjarkarímur and an Icelandic rímur of the fifteenth century speaks of the Skjöldung (Gli Scylding of the Beowulf), and the other cross-strait Hrocari (Hroðgar) and his brother Helgi (Halga) and Bleðvarr Bjarki's cousin.
