Hans Höhener (Teufen, 1947) is a Swiss politician.

Hans Höhener, member of the Liberal Democratic Party of Appenzell Ausserrhoden (FDP A.Rh., Department of Federal Freedom Democratic Party), became a member of the Teufen City Council at the age of 23. Two years later he became a member of the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. In addition, Höhener was also editor and director of the local television channel Teufen TV.

Hans Höhener joined the Government Council of Appenzell Ausserrhoden in 1984 (until 1997). He was then the youngest government council in Appenzell Ausserrhoden ever. As government council he managed the Department of Education and Culture. Höhener undertook for women's right of justice, which was introduced in Appenzell Ausserrhoden in 1989 (Switzerland's last canton).
