Horde (band)

Horde is an Australian Christian metal band.

Horde came in the time Black Metal celebrated its high days, with bands like Mayhem, Burzum, Immortal, Marduk and Blasphemy. Horde was a reaction to satanism in the metal, and came with a Christian message in his Metal. Nowadays, we speak of unblack metal.

Horde was made under the name "anonymous" by Australian Jayson Sherlock. At the time, Jayson Sherlock was also a drummer at Christian bands like Mortification and Parameic.

In 1994, Horde came with a CD called 'Hellig Usvart', meaning quite translated 'Heilig Onzwart'. In 2007, the Live CD Alive in Oslo followed by a DVD entitled The Day Of Total Armageddon Holocaust. Record company Nuclear Blast decided in 2008 to re-release the Hellig Usvart CD, this CD also includes some bonus tracks in the form of live tracks. Discography Albums
