K.M. (Marina) van der Velde-Menting (May 8, 1953) is a Dutch politician of the VVD.
She graduated from the law and became a councilor in Bunnik in January 1985. She has also been elected for more than two years and was chairman of the VVD Group since April 1996. In 1999 she left local politics in Bunnik and became manager of administrative and legal affairs and project secretary of the North / South Line Project Organization in Amsterdam. Since March 2010, Van der Velde-Menting is the mayor of Kaag and Braassem. Since the formation of that municipality on January 1, 2009 at the merger of Alkemade and Jacobswoude, Bas Eenhoorn was acting mayor. Van der Velde-Menting is thus the first mayor of Kaag and Braassem.
