René De Vos (July 26, 1921 - January 21, 2005) was a Belgian football player who played as a midfielder. The Vos debuted in 1941 in the first team of First Class Beerschot VAC and soon acquired a fixed base. With the team De Vos became second in the war championships of 1942 and 1943. After World War II, Beerschot could not confirm these good results and became a centermother. It was only since the early 1950s that the team, thanks to top scorer Rik Coppens, recalled the successes. In 1953 De Vos finished third with the team and in fourth place fourth place in 1954. De Vos stayed there until 1955 and then left a point behind his top-level players career. In total, he played 293 games in First Class and scored 49 goals.

After his career career, De Vos became a football coach. Between 1957 and 1960 he was Beerschot's trainer. With the team, he scored fourth in the final ranking of the Belgian football competition. In 1961 De Vos became trainer of K. Lierse SK. He scored 11th in the final position with the team but left the team at that moment.
