Stash (former Stache) is a Belgian music group founded in Opwijk in 1997. Seven years later, the band scored a big hit with "Sadness."
The song broke the records of Ultratop, the official hit parade of Belgium, by being the longest-listed record in Flanders in the top 10 and the longest record in the entire Ultratop 75. In the clip of "Sadness" see several famous Flemings such as Axl Peleman, Guy Swinnen, Luc De Vos, Stijn Meuris and Walter Grootaers. In the clip of "Shelter from evil ones" the mothers of the four then band members played the lead again.
In the summer of 2005, Stash, among other things, featured Rock Werchter. The line-up of the band has changed several times over the years, but frontman Gunther Verspecht is a fixed value.
