Transcopic

Transcopic Records is a record label and was founded in 1998 by Graham Coxon (Blur Guitarist until 2002). His soloist appeared under this label (so far six albums: "The Sky Is Too High" ('98), 'The Golden D' ('99), 'Crow Sit On Blood Tree' Of 'Morning' ('02), 'Happiness In Magazines' ('04) and 'Love Travels At Illegal Speeds' ('06)) but also of other groups including Mower, Billy Childish and The Buff Medways, You Am I and Louis Vause.

The label is led by Graham Coxon and Jamie Davis and is a subdivision of Parlophone (and therefore also of EMI).

The CD boxes of this label are almost always made of cardboard. On this, they say on their website: "It looks homemade, more organic, is it not? Aesthetically more satisfying. It does not stumble on mass production and it does not break if you drop it."

The artwork on the covers is usually taken care of by the artists, "unless it's crap". Externe link
