Brother of the Order of the Jesuits, in 1668, with the suppression of the Order wanted by Pope Clement IX became a secular priest. Dolphin and faithful pupil of Bonaventura Cavalieri, from 1662 to 1697, the year of his death, taught at the University of Padua.
