Ewell studied at a special school for dance, singing and acting in Westminster. She had previously played in series such as "Freaks and Geeks" or "The bold and the beautiful" but her fame was mainly due to the American television series: The Vampire Diaries in which she plays Vicki, Matt Donovan's sister.
