Lausanne-Friborg-Bern Railway


The Chemin de fer Lausanne-Friborg-Berne (LFB) also known as Oronbahn was a Swiss railway company from the period 1858 to 1872. History

On July 1, 1858, Chemin de fer Geneva Versoix and predecessors were taken over by the LFB.

The LFB built the following trajectories from 1860:

By the merger of three railway companies, the Compagnie de l'Ouest-Suisse de Chemin de fer Lausanne-Friborg-Berne (LFB) and the Compagnie Franco-Suisse formed the Compagnie Suisse Occidentale on 1 January 1872. Literature Also see
