The Prins of Aragón, in Spanish Infantes de Aragón, played an important role in the history of the kingdoms of Aragon and Castile. The Infants were part of the Trastámara house that had important possessions in Castile. During the reign of Johan II of Castile, the prince tried to expand their power in the kingdom at the expense of the king and the other nobility.
Finally, they had to dig down the first battle at Olmedo in 1445.
