Castell Aberlleiniog (Castle of the River Lleiniog) is a moth castle at the Welshe town of Llangoed on the island of Anglesey. The castle was built between 1080 and 1099 by Hugh d'Avranches, 1st Earl of Chester. The castle is about 3 kilometers from the much more famous Beaumaris Castle and is built on a steep hill.
In the year 1094, the castle was unsuccessfully conquered by Gruffydd Ap Cynan, where 124 Normans left.
The original wooden castle was destroyed by Thomas Cheadle, the constable of Beaumaris Castle.
