Eusko Gudariak (Dutch: Basque soldiers) is a Basque song written in 1932 by José María de Garate, who was currently the EAJ chairman. The melody actually comes from Atzo Bilbon Nego, a traditional song from Arabia. It was the song of the Basque warriors during the Spanish Civil War and is now popular as the war of the Basque nationalists. Although Eusko Abendaren Ereserkia is the official anthem of the Autonomous Region of Basque Country, Eusko Gudariak is often regarded as such. Text
