Cambridge Film Festival
The Cambridge Film Festival is one of Britain's largest film festivals. The festival usually takes place in Cambridge every July, but in 2008 the festival took place in September.
The festival was first organized in 1977. Usually, there are international films that have made their debut at other major festivals, including the Cannes Film Festival and the Berlin Film Festival. The movies are displayed on an inflatable screen. The festival is easily accessible: all movies are available to the public.
The festival is held in Cambridge's Arts Picturehouse, a local art cinema run by City Screen. Since 2005, the nearby Cambridge Cineworld plywood is also being used for the festival.
