Chain reaction (television program)

Chain reaction (The Netherlands) or Domino effect (Flanders) is an original German television program around a record attempt of the world's largest chain reaction. The program was inspired by the film "Der lauf der dingen" by the Swiss brothers Peter Fischli and David Weiss. In 1987, they set the record with a length of 29 minutes and 45 seconds.

In the record attempt, all kinds of items are used, except for dominoes. On 13 June 2009, the first attempt was sent in the Netherlands, which failed. The Dutch version was presented by Hans Kraay Jr., Nance and Robin Paul Weijers, in Flanders by Roos Van Acker and Hans Otten.

The Dutch broadcast on SBS 6 attracted 838,000 viewers. An overview of world record attempts (or not from chain reaction)
